Lip Swatches!! Ofra cosmetics

Hello guys,

Yes, its lip swatch time. Now I know how it feels to try on so many lip products on your lips, luckily it was only three. I have kept my eye out on this American brand called Ofra Cosmetics for ages now. Ever since I came across Kathleen Lights and Manny MUA on Youtube who have done collaborations with this brand, you know I had to get my hands on them.

I made a order a few weeks ago because I really wanted to try them out. They retail for $19.90 which is about £13.61 you also get 30% off when you use any affiliate code I used 'trendmood', but Manny and Kathleen have codes too. It really is affordable for anyone who is looking for a bargain on liquid lipsticks.

I ordered three liquid lipsticks, they all came up to £28.58 ($41.79) plus a delivery charge $14.95. All together for £40.75 ($56.74) I was so pleased I did not have to pay a custom fee, that happens sometimes when you order from the US to the UK. But not this time.

Let me warn you I was having a fun time trying these liquid lipsticks on.

The first one is in the shade Havana Nights the collab with Kathleen lights. It's such a beautiful burgundy shade, just what I love. They all glide on so well and smell like butter frost icing (yum!!).

Next one up is Miami Fever collab with Kathleen Lights. This colour is definitely a summer or holiday shade. I Love that orange/terracotta colour it's so pretty. I've seen it on so many complexion's and it looks different on everyone.

Last one up is Charmed. The name says it all, this one is the Manny MUA collab. He said that the name was inspired by the TV show Charmed. I used to love watching Charmed.

I think this colour would suit so many complexion's, it's a lovely pink nude dusty mauve. It's the
perfect everyday colour whether your a student, at work or causal or a glam day.

Honestly, these liquid lipsticks are so comfortable to wear and so worth purchasing. I am so glad I got to try them out and especially the collaboration ones. Just to let you know they do have a bit of transfer (I have no problem with a little bit of transfer), but the best thing is they are so pigmented that they last for hours on your lips without crumbling or flaking off.

They contain antioxidants and vitamin E as well and are so smooth. I actually love them all I can't decide which one is my favourite, thanks Ofra. Well at least I know I will be repurchasing some more of these again.

You need to try them out they're incredible.

New brushes...

As I mentioned in my previous post, I wanted to put two posts up this week. I recently ordered some new brushes from Beauty Bay. Let me just say I'm so impressed with my order, not only was it next day delivery but the brushes look and feel amazing, plus the packaging they sent me was so cute. I'm so excited to share this with you guys.

Now you must be wondering what brands did I get, well I have been waiting for ages to try out some Zoeva brushes and Morphe brushes. Youtubers and bloggers always rave on about how good these brushes are, so I decided to purchase some.

I will share some information about the Beauty Bay website. In order to get free delivery you have to spend over £15 and for free next day delivery spending over £40 and they have premium next day delivery spending over £70. They also ship worldwide too. Beauty Bay have a whole range of different brands you can choose from, which makes it handy if you don't want to spend a delivery fee on a certain brand your looking for. I know what that's like.

Click here if you want to purchase some goodies from this website. As usual everything will be listed below.

Look how nice the packaging is.

Let's focus on the eyes.

I've been anxiously waiting to put up a simple step by step eye look for you guys for a while now. I am planning to make another post on my everyday Make up routine, which should be up in a week or two. I will update you guys on social media.

Easy is not even the word for this, quick is more like it. It took 15/20 minutes to do this look, that's how simple it was. You guys may know or if you are new here I have an obsession with liquid lipsticks and I bought three brand new ones. I have used only two liquid lipsticks for this look, I hope you guys enjoy.

All products will be listed below, so if you want to recreate this look @bubbly_bobbie on Twitter or IG @spilltheteabobs_ .

Matte it Primer: The Body Shop
Last perfection Concealer Dark 4: Collection
Nearly naked shade Caramel: Revlon
Current favourite beauty sponge: B. Superdrug's (used damp sponge to blend foundation and concealer)
Fit me Pressed powder in Coconut I patted on with my fingers: Maybelline
My go to Intensive Moisturiser/Lip balm: Blistex

Before I put on the eyeshadow on the lids I like to put a primer on them or Concealer. It helps to keep the eyeshadow on longer and does not crease. I used my collection Concealer on the lids before starting. The first shade I used was a nude peachy colour from Marks and Spencer's in the shade peach (autograph colour, not available). You guys can use whatever eyeshadow you have similar to the ones I have.

I tap into the gold eye shadow (in the shade sand) on top of the peachy colour with my elf small contour brush.

For the crease I place above the brown shade (Blast another one from Marks and Spencer's not available) with a duo fibre eye blending brush to create some dimension and to make it pop. Blending is your best friend.
Top tip: Make sure to blend it in well.

I then tap on the lid the other gold shade to set it in place and create a warm effect.

Tip: You do not have to do this as I place the peachy colour back on top to make it a little brighter.

Gel Eyeliner : Maybelline
Slanted brush: The Body Shop
The inner corner with: L'Oreal perfect Slim liner.

In my water line I pencil in the MUA white khol liner (its only £1, what a steal). To be honest I haven't applied white liner for a while. I really liked how it made my eyes stand out. Under neath my water line I smudged the brown eyeshadow with the C brush from elf.

I was supposed to use the Soap and glory thick and fast Mascara but I forgot. Go ahead and use any Mascara.

Contour kit in Medium: Sleek
Duo fibre Contour brush: Real techniques
Highlight Champagne Pop: Becca/Jaclyn Hill
Duo fibre powder brush: Real Techniques
I used this on my cheek bones, bridge of my nose, cupids bow, eyebrow bone and a little on sides of my forehead.

Finished off with the peach eyeshadow in inner corners of the eyes. Using duo fibre eye blending brush real techniques. I usually get my eyebrows threaded, but if I don't I grow them out and brush them into place like I have done here.

I decided to go for a bold deep red colour on my lips and a subtle pinky peachy nude (Terracotta). Liquid lipsticks: Adoring and Gemini.

The Balm lasting liquid lipstick: Adoring
Smells like After eights chocolate and has a nice minty tingle on the lips. Added bonus it's so comfortable to wear.

Jeffree Star velour liquid lipstick: Gemini
Smells like root beer and is so comfortable. (I have 8 different shades already, it has no transfer)

I am planning to do another blogpost near the end of this week. If you have any questions let me know in the comment section below. Also let me know what you would like to see next guys.

Is it worth the hype spending money on High End Body Creams?

Hello guys...

By the way whatever they sprayed on the tissue paper smells awesome!!!

Before you start reading this you may want to grab a snack or a cup of tea because this post is a little long. If you follow me on Twitter, I tweeted that I went to L'Occitane on Tuesday. Now I haven't purchased anything like skincare from this shop before, the first time I visited L'Occitane (which was a year and a half ago) I only bought a refill for my diffuser.

I was really intrigued when I came across the body moisturisers on the L'Occitane website. I suffer with really dry skin, so I did a little research and saw what creams were the bestsellers and also what I thought would be great for my skin. My initial plan was to buy or try out the Shea Butter moisturiser, since I had heard great reviews about the hand cream and body cream. I saw the Almond Milk Concentrate too which had amazing reviews as well, so I was pretty torn between the two. I decided to make a visit in the Covent gardens store and the staff were so pleasant and approachable.

So I asked the Sales advisor if she could tell me a little bit about the body moisturisers, specifically the Shea Butter range. She had these little gold coloured scoops and told me about the 'Ultra Rich Body Cream' which was not the one I was looking for but I tried it out anyways. The 'Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Lotion' which was the one I wanted to try out, I thought the consistency was a little thin than I expected for the lotion one and the thicker ultra rich cream (body cream) reminded me of the creams I tend to shy away from (like a medicated cream) she did mention that it helps out for really dry skin.

The Sales advisor suggested that there are other creams around the store and if I would like to try there Almond creams out. She showed me both the Almond Milk Concentrate and the Almond Milk veil, she then scooped out the Almond Milk Concentrate onto the back of my hand (where I had space since I had the other two creams on my hand already), and at that point I instantly fell in love with the cream. It smelt lovely, the consistency was just right and after a few seconds of putting it on my hand it had an amazing shine. I was completely sold after that. You must be wondering how much it retailed for and I won't lie I gulped a little, it cost £38. Yes £38!

Do you see that shine... I'm dying 😩

I would not suggest to buy this if your a student, unless your working or you have saved up. I think it's definitely worth a try. I have never bought a body moisturiser for that much before. So I will have a review up in the next 1/2 months mentioning whether I will repurchase it again or not. Yay! or Nay!

I was completely satisfied with the customer service at L'Occitane (fantastic staff) and pleased they gave me free samples to try out too along with 20% off my next purchase.

If you have purchased anything from L'Occitane or any other High end brands let me know your experience down below or through twitter. I would love to know guys, also let me know what you would like to see next.
