DIY: How to do false nails yourself

Welcome back.

Getting your nails done in the salon can either be time consuming or sometimes expensive. So I thought why not do a post on how to do your nails yourself, which is inexpensive. It's all about patience...

Make sure you have clean hands before starting. First off, if you have nail polish left on your nails clean it off with acetone.

The best thing about false nails is that you can buy them literally anywhere. Either in a drugstore or online, I bought mine from superdrug's around £3 or £4 (false nails range between £3-£7).

You should have a guide in the packet,  if not you can use my blogpost as a guide 😊.

1.) Clip nails down and smooth nail base with a nail file ( should come with the nail kit)

2.) Push cuticles down, do not be too harsh with your cuticles.

3.) Place nails on the table and choose the right acrylic nail that fits on your nails. (make sure you place them aside so you do not get confused with the wrong size nail) You can also file the acrylic nail before putting it on.

4.) Have a few cotton buds nearby when using the glue. Put glue on your small finger nail then add a little on acrylic nail ( do not put glue on your cuticle) then press down firmly and hold for 5 seconds.

5.) Have patience!!!

6.) You should have all nails on, wash your hands again and dry thoroughly. Shape the nails to your desired look or keep them as they are.

7.) Get ready to paint those nails. Any colour of your choice, I decided to go for the Barry M gelly hi-shine polish in black cherry (ring finger) and sparkling amethyst. I love dark nails

8.) Make sure you let the nail polish dry for 10-15 minutes max, so it does not mess up.

9.) Then your done girl 🙆💃💅💁

Pink is the new black

Come on, who doesn't like pink... I haven't done a makeup look like this before and thought why not post a makeup look using new products, plus products I didn't agree with before but absolutely love now.

Pink is one of my favourite colours and I have never done a inspiration look like this before. A youtuber named 'Thatgirlshaexo' did this eye look, but I changed the lip colour and a few other things. Everything will be listed below the images, enjoy guys!!! xoxo

Primer: The Body Shop 'matte it' primer
Eyeshadow: Self-made palette Anastasia Beverly Hills  (Butterly, hot n cold, hot chocolate, treasury middle lower lash line and inner corner)
Marks and Spencer's eyeshadow duo in Sandblast  (used blast for the base)
Eyeliner: Maybelline gel liner and khol liner, Loreal superliner (perfect slim/superstar)
Mascara: Its cosmetics Hello Lashes

Foundation: Ex1 foundation F500 and Relvon nearly naked Caramel.
Concealer: Collection perfection in Dark 4
Pressed powder: Maybelline fit me press in Coconut
Highlight: Becca Shimmering Perfector poured Moonstone (trying out for the first and it's amazing)
Contour/bronzer: Keyvn Aucoin The matte bronzing veil in Dessert Nights (Amazeballs!!)
Brows: A little bit off Mac spiked pencil and maybelline gel liner (wiped off a bit cause it was too intense)

Lips: Mac lipliner in nightmoth and YSL lipstick Fushia in rage.

I bought this lipstick online about a year ago and did not like it because it was too sheer. But once I tried it on again a few days ago with the lipliner it blew me away and I love it now.

Lipstick alternatives: Rimmel lipstick in shade 20
Or Relvon lip butter in lollipop (075)

Brushes used:
Real Technique's: Miracle complexion Sponge
Duo fibre contour brush and eyeshadow brush
Stippling brush
Body Shop Slanted brush
Elf eyeshadow C brush
Elf small contour brush (blend colours on the eyes)

Products I have been indulging in to too take my make-up off: Garnier micellar cleansing water dry combination
Simple cleansing wipes
Also been loving bioderma makeup remover solution too. 😉😍
Tips: Buy travel size ones just incase you don't like them.
