My Skincare Regime (For the PM) for Dry Skin.

 Hello everyone,

Last post of the year. To think we all been through so much in 2020. Let's end with a positive outcome and reflect on things we can do better in the future. As we lead on to a New year, I wanted to share my skincare routine for the evening.

Disclaimer- I am not a skincare expert or a Esthetician. All these products work for my dry skin, so these products work for me but may not work the same on you. You are able to click on the links to see what ingredients these products have and whether you can try them out or not.

1. OSKIA

Recommended for dry skin and acne prone skin. The vitamin B2, C, and E cleansing gel helps revitalise, strengthen and illuminates your face. I use 4 pumps of this and put it on bare skin and massage in then use the some water to emulsify the gel on my face. Wipe it of with water and a warm face cloth or a muslin cloth.

2. WATERMELON ULTRA GLOW MIST

With 84% watermelon, hydraronic acid and hibiscus flower AHA this sutle glow mist hydrates the face in minutes and gives it a nice glow on clean skin or after applying makeup.

3. WATERMELON GLOW PHA AND BHA PORE TIGHT TONER

I like to use the toner all over my face to get deep in my pores and the PHA, BHA along with hydroxy acid helps battle blackheads and make the skin smooth.

4. WATERMELON GLOW MOISTURISER

The lightweight moisturizer is great for oily and dry skin skin. I use 3 pumps on the my face. It helps to hydrate skin after toning.

5. FRESH ROSE DEEP HYDRATION FACE SERUM

This bad boy is the truly a refreshing and cooling serum. It's great for deep moisture and rehydrates dull and dry skin.

6. WATERMELON GLOW SLEEPING MASK

Lastly the penultimate sleeping mask this stuff works like magic. Especially in the morning. Everytime I use this my face feels so soft in the morning. The gel formula softens, exfoliates and moisturises your face with its watermelon extracts.

I want to wish you all a graceful, blessed and spectacular New year. Happy New year for 2021 everyone.

Mmmmitchell just did something here. Review on Made by Mitchell

Hello guys,

Random question, how many times do you see a post on a new eyeshadow palette or new makeup products coming out? Countless times. I know, it can be a little bit draining. We have all seen it before the same nude palette or neutral palette or even something similar that came out last year. When will there ever be something a little more out of this world.

Maybe I spoke to soon because Mmmmitchell has come out with a new launch named 'Made by Mitchell'. I was screaming with joy when I found out he was making a some new makeup products and yes I ordered straight away with no hesitation. Mmmmitchell is known for his exquisite artistry as an makeup artist and fun vibrant makeup looks.

If you are interested to see his collection and website click here.

I managed to purchase on the first round with no issues (everything is restocked). I snapped up the Feet on the Ground palette and a liquid blush which he called it 'Blursh'. Palettes cost £40 and blush retails for £14.

The pigment from the eyeshadow palette are extraordinary. I particularly like the shade 'Tigerlily' such a great pigmented orange shade I have never come across before. Only one colour in the palette that needed a little more pigment and it was the shade 'Ammmmo'. Overall I rate the eyeshadow palette a 9.5 out of 10 and the creamy liquid blush is a dream to put on. I recommend putting this on before putting translucent powder on or any other powder. The peach shade is such a universal shade. I rate it a 8 out of 10.

Note: Delivery took one week and a bit after purchasing on the 25th of October. I received my items on the 11th of November (missed it on the 10th). As most things are back in stock delivery and confirmation emails could be a little quicker now. Although there is a Black Friday sale at the moment, so I am not sure.

Here are some swatches and photos of the products:

Until next time. Follow me on Twitter or Instagram, let's connect.

NEW FROM FENTY BEAUTY

 Hey all,

Have you heard about the new mini holiday collection from Fenty Beauty?

If not you may want to check this out.

Fenty Beauty has finally launched another mini gloss bomb set and two new mini stunna lip  paints. So if you are looking to gift yourself, try them out for the first time or gift someone for Christmas or their birthday then this is something great to purchase.

I've always been that type of person that prefers to purchase full size products. But sometimes its a better option to try new products out in the mini size to see if you want to continue using it or not and it doesn't break the bank so much. These minis are great to pack for travelling or on the go.

All the glosses apart from Cake shake are very much just like fenty glow when it comes to consistency. Cake shake has more of a sticky and thick consistency but the bronzy shade would pair well on brown and deeper skin tones. I think all the glosses will look amazing on everyone. On the other hand the lip paints I would say you would need to dip twice to get the perfect coverage on your lips, but overall they work just as well as the bigger lip paints.

Rating 8.5/10

Mini glossy posse Holo Daze Gloss bombs (retail for $36 or £30) 5.5ml 0.18 FL OZ

Duo mini stunna lip paints (retails for $25 or £22) 2ml 0.06 FL OZ

Did a comparison between the shades unmatched and uncensored. Top left Underrated, left unmatched and bottom uncensored.

Did you say Anti-theft bag? High Spirit London

Hello guys,

I love filling you all with the latest products out here and especially small businesses that we all can support. So in July I came across a few black owned businesses, particularly on black pound day. I stumbled across on social media a brand named High Spirit bags London. Now I watched a few video's and looked at their website and guess what I was completely sold. The main reason I was scrolling through their page is simply because I need a new bag and somehow their bags caught my eye.

If you are looking for a innovative rucksack or backpack then High Spirit London might be the place to shop at online. First off they ship internationally and its free delivery from what I have seen (although fast shipping with DHL express is £20). High Spirit London is an family business who have been around for 8 years now.

You're probably thinking which backpack would be most practical for your everyday or travelling trips? Well there are quite a few to choose from but the two that caught my eyes the most were the Midnight ostrich Anti-theft backpack and the New edition laptop backpack. You can also view more styles on the website. Click here

I purchased the Midnight ostrich Anti-theft backpack (It was £100 but now £120) which you will see in my video. Let me spare you the boring parts and let you know a few details about this backpack:

  • Water Resistant
  • Leather exterior
  • Gold plated engraved logo
  • Fits a 13" laptop
  • Quilted back
  • Red interior
  • Sturdy straps that are adjustable
  • As mentioned within zip compartment at the back
  • Lastly guard edges and frame strucutred to keep the bags shape.
Click here for more information (weight and full pictures) : High Spirit bags

I used code NTV20 from Nicole's Channel.

I hope I gave you enough insight on High Spirit bags London. Which one will you choose?

ELF COSMETICS VS FENTY BEAUTY!

Hey guys,

Before I start go and check out another small black owned business Yeye Mi. They sell handmade African print bonnets, face masks and also other beauty favourites.
Mentioned in my current video.

So how are we all doing? I am coming to terms with things gradually getting back to normal, but we still have a lot to fix over here in the UK and around the world. I wanted to try out the new beauty gem from Elf cosmetics from their new range the Retro paradise and compare to a Fenty Beauty product. Let's get ready because I will be testing the Retro paradise Body oil in golden hour against the Fenty Beauty Body Lava in Brown Sugar.

Watch video:

Verdict please... I have to say the Golden hour is absolutely incredible for a whooping £12. Its cruelty free, smells like a tropical paradise (passionfruit), perfect shine and shimmer. My only concern is the bottle is plastic and I know I won't be able to use it all the time. The body oil is very runny and liquidity, be careful not to over do it. I would love to do a wear test for 12 hours and give you all an update in a couple of weeks.

When it comes to preserving my products for a while (I have had the fenty for about 2 years) the Fenty Beauty wins. It smells like luxury and gives your body a perfect bronze glow making it look like you have had a glow from within or a tan to your shoulders, legs or body. The price for this is £46 considering its lasted me long its not bad. Only con is it can be feel sticky. However, make sure to apply to places on your body where needed because these type of products can transfer. Cruelty free to.

I recommend the brushes especially the Elf cosmetics body one. Super soft and only £10. Then the angled Fenty Beauty Kabuki brush pairs perfectly with the Body lava. Retailing for £26.

If you cannot deal with shimmer then these products I would not recommend.

Ratings for both Golden hour and Brown Sugar 9.5/10.

Which one would you choose? Let me know

You can purchase at Elfcosmetics.com

Divine Rose II Review: Pat McGrath

Hi all,

Check out: Jamii's website. Black owned company selling a discount card for black owned businesses. You could get up to 40% off.

Ok, so before you judge me. Yes, I did indulge and spend a few coins on something pretty pricey. This might be my penultimate favourite eye shadow palette I have ever bought compared to my Natasha Denona palette's I own.

Aunty Pat did it again. I'm extremely grateful to have the Divine rose II in my collection. I will cherish this palette like I do to all the palettes I own already. I most definitely mean it.
The weighty palette is 32 grams and each net shadow is 0.047 oz.

As mentioned in the video, I want to find a dupe  to this palette so there are options for those of you who want an affordable palette. Hopefully, in my next video I'll be able to find something slightly similar to it. Pat's formula for each eye shadow is extremely luxurious, velvety, smooth, creamy and highly opaque. Pat Mcgrath's products are luxury products, so you are paying for high quality items which makes the experience spectacular. I did not have to wet my brush at all , you may have to dip your brush a few times for the mattes, however they show up flawlessly.

Disclaimer: I did swatch Astral pink moon in the video and it didn't show up the first time so I swatched it again but it did not appear in the video.

I bet you are wondering what the damage is for this palette or you already may know. Well this beautiful gem is a whooping £115 ($125). Yes very expensive, on the other hand this is an luxury item you get what you paid for. I'm telling you, you will not be disappointed. It's currently in stock and you can use code Bloom10 like I did to get 10% off making it £103.50. It is available to the UK, US and most countries internationally. Some countries are restricted. Click here

Let's call this an early birthday treat for myself. Words cannot express how ecstatic I was when I received my palette and this being my first palette from Pat McGrath's original black packaging, even though the pink mirrored limited edition one would have been the icing on the cake. Unfortunately it is sold out.

If you are scared of bold or fun colours (honestly I do not know why) then you may prefer the Divine Rose I palette. Still available in black. Click here

Description about the shades from the palette:

Skinshow Rose Opal- Iridescent pinky champagne.

Naked Blush- Corally peachy Matte

Eleganza- Chromatic pinky Plum

Bronze Rosé 005- Metallic bronze rose

Gold Lust 001- True antique gold

Xtreme Burgundy- Matte deep burgundy

Divine Dusk- Shimmery deep rose bronze

Rose seduction- Satin vibrant Magenta

VR Sextraterrestial- Combined Triochrome of pink, golden peach and chartreuse.

Astral Pink Moon- Glittery pink/peach topper.

As this is my first ever Pat McGrath eye shadow palette, I 110% believe this is the best I have ever used it is literally a 10/10. I do not know where it goes from here. Whatever palette comes out next from the renowned Pat McGrath, I hope it is the same par or even better than this. I am thinking how the next palette will outperform this one. You guys have any thoughts on what the colour scheme she will go for next?

Airbrush Bronzer- Charlotte Tilbury Review

Hello all,

Hope you enjoyed my previous post and looking forward to find out what other beauty products I have to share with you today.

Before I start, I want to take the time to reflect on the recent events that have been taking place during this month and last. I know this has been an ongoing issue through history and it's painful to see things come to light. As many bloggers and influencers have been quiet on the subject of Black lives matter. I want to promote more about black businesses on my socials as well as my Youtube and please do voice your opinions, yes I want you to speak up. I will be doing so in my next posts and follow me on IG or Twitter @Spilltheteabobs_ or @Spilltheteabobs .

I am seriously in love with this Bronzer guys. Took me a few years to find the right one for myself , but this Airbrush Bronzer is incredible. I can tell you which I forgot to mention in the video that the Airbrush Bronzer is used for the face and body (which is why the packaging is so massive). The Airbrush Bronzer lives up to the name of it giving you a flawless and sun-kissed finished look. Somehow it transform the way your makeup looks, especially when I used it on my skin. Now that I have had the Airbrush Bronzer for 2 weeks, I have fallen in love with not only the packaging but the formula too. Hopefully Charlotte brings out a smaller compact size one for our purse.

Just to let you know the first two ingredients are Talc and Mica, so you are aware. The description notes that you should 'Buff onto skin and blend with the airbrush for a natural looking sun-kissed finish'. Lasts up to 24 months. It comes in four shades being deep, tan, medium and fair. For reference I have shade Tan. Retails for £39 or $55.

My only slight concern is the shade range is not that wide. For a brand to have loads different shades of foundations I was expecting a few more inclusive shades for the Bronzer. Maybe two shades in between Tan and Deep and another richer chocolate shade rather than just Deep. However, my experience with this Bronzer is absolutely positive. I 100% think you guys should try the Airbrush Bronzer out for yourself. Below I have linked the website.

PAT MCGRATH HAUL

Hello world.

I'm back guys! I have truly missed blogging and sharing content with you all.

I recently uploaded a video of my Pat McGrath haul and I mentioned how I will be writing a post and sharing photos.

Let me start of by praising Pat McGrath for her wonderful artistry and diligent work. She literally has changed the game for high end make up and I am so impressed.

I tend to stick to average priced makeup products, but when the discounts came along on Pat McGrath's website I thought why not. I'm so glad I did and I will be purchasing again discount or not. Yes, that's how much I'm enjoying everything I purchased.

In the video I share with you only swatches but I have had time off camera to test out the products. I know you all will like to know the verdict and guess what? All those products I purchased are a 10/10. I hardly ever say things like this but those brilliant shine lip glosses (£19 mini trio) are a dream along with the beautiful luxurious scents. One other thing the lip gloss is not sticky, it's super smooth.

The skin fetish sublime perfection (a mouthful) concealer is a great match on me considering I thought M21 came out a little darker when I swatched it on my hand. It's perfect for spot concealing and normal too. Eventually I will purchase an lighter shade, but besides that the powder works like magic it makes a huge difference. I recommend all those products I bought. Really intrigued to try her eye shadows and foundation. Very soon. (Duo for £40)

Lastly the Mattetrance lipstick (£35) is phenomenal, the texture is so creamy and smooth, also its a matte formula. Blows my mind when I use it. It almost looks like its frosty and you will be ableto tell in the video and photo's below.

A few close up shots:

So is Pat Mcgrath's makeup products worth the money. I think you know my answer already. Without doubt yes it is. Check it out for yourself.

xoxo
