Spring time looks using one palette: Take me back to Brazil from BH Cosmetics

Ready for some spring time colourful looks, look no further than this guys.

I recently posted a video discussing my Top favourite eyeshadow palettes and so many of you really enjoyed it and loved my colourful make up look.

As excited as I am I have created a 2 in 1 look using the BH cosmetics Take me back to Brazil palette. I thought why do one look when you can create so many looks with 35 shades.

Products are listed here: https://youtu.be/JkuOekLlOAY

I definitely think the palette is cohesive and opaque. Some shades you may need to build up a little more than others. But for the price (£20) and the fact the palette has a mirror you are saving some coins. Especially for those starting out with make up and like to experiment with colours.

You can purchase the palette from BH cosmetics or Beauty Bay. Do it quickly because it does sell out all the time.

Hope you all enjoy my video and let me know if I should do more videos like this too.

Review for Candle Lovers: Candy Candles Ltd

Wax melts individually weigh 2 grams (Oil burner/ tea light candle, 2 wax melts)

Candles are one of my favourite home pieces to purchase. It always brings that sense of relaxation, chilling out and being free from work vibe to me. I know what your thinking , that's so cliché. But come on! There is some truth to it right?

Mini clip on my IG: click here

I was actually contacted by one of my old University friend's and she told me a little bit about how she set up a wax melts business not too long ago. It is known as Candy Candles Ltd. Before anything I would like to thank her and congratulate her on this huge endeavour its truly a great innovative and affordable small business.

Candy Candle Ltd is a current website who sell mini wax melts retailing from £1.55 to £1.99 (and larger jars with 50 wax melts £2.50 ). They are super affordable and you can receive free shipping within the UK.

More information- Candy candle website: Click here
Or any questions contact: candycandlesltd@gmail.com

I was sent these amazing wax jars filled with candy scented heart wax melts along with a candle cover and tea light. I know this would be a brilliant gift for any of you who are candle lovers, or even for Weddings or Easter time, which is not that far away. They're securely packed all in bubble wrap, and this is mentioned on the website so they stay intact when it is delivered to you.

This whole set I received would be the ideal home décor for anyone's room ( living room/ bedrooms) and also venues as well . I received the scents in Fudge which smells like caramel fudge and cherry (it reminds me of cherry drops, my childhood memories are just flooding back to me). My initial reaction when I opened the jar was 'wow that is strong', but the smell lingers quite far and for a few hours making your home smell just like candy or which ever fragrance you desire ( there are over 15 scents to choose from). I have not tried anything like this before, I think I would love to buy a few more other scents.

For those of you who love candles and want a something a little different these wax melts are definitely worth purchasing. Plus free shipping guys, I'm not too sure about international shipping but you can drop a email to them to ask.

Disclaimer: Not sponsored. I was personally sent these and asked if I would like to review them (I agreed to do so)

Review: Soft Glam and Powder Bronzer from Anastasia Beverly Hills

Quick question guys. What is one thing you wish to see in a go to palette?
Well for me it's a palette with shades I can wear everyday, and create multiple looks with.

Ladies and gentlemen I would like to introduce the stunning Soft Glam eyeshadow palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) along side the Powder Bronzer.

If you're a makeup fanatic/ enthusiast like myself then you definitely need this palette in your life. The array of warm tones, to pinks to beautiful rich dark tone shades are magnificent. However, if you own a ABH palette already then you know how brilliant the pigments are. Some people have compared it to previous palettes, I only own the Self-made palette so I will link some videos on my youtube for comparsions. I am aware there are some shades that are repeats, but it's still a gorgeous palette.

I have created a video to show you guys my first impressions using the palette and bronzer (swatches, demo and mini review).

I have the shade Mahogany. Swatched below

Let's start with the price. The Abh Soft Glam palette retails for £43 just like the other eyeshadow palettes. As for the new powder bronzer it retails for £29 (comes in six different shades Rosewood, Saddle, Tawny, Cappuccino and Mahogany). I was able to snatch these up on the day it launched on the UK website.

Abh Soft Glam palette

I adore the Abh Soft Glam palette and maybe that's because I love the simple colour scheme Anastasia went for. I think making a palette that can be worn on a daily basis is great and a clever idea. There are so many looks to create with the Soft Glam palette whether it is basic or dramatic. I can see why they wanted to make it a bridal theme palette because of those soft and rich pigments Anastasia and Norvina put in the palette.
My favourite shades were burnt orange, Sienna, Noir and Bronze so far. They are beautiful shades and blend out tremedously well. I did not need to use any fix plus when I applied Bronze on my eyes which was fantastic.

My only issues with this palette is you cannot go to heavy handed with it, as some of the shades can become a little muddy looking on the eye as its full of pigment. The shade Cyprus umber is packed with pigment and mulberry too. So go light handed and tap of the excess as your going with the palette.

Lastly,  I was hoping that Anastasia could of brought out a few newer shades in the soft glam palette. Since I do not own any of the previous palettes like the modern rennaissance /subculture/prism palette I am pleased with the colour scheme chosen in the new palette. But for those who own those other palettes, it may have stopped them from purchasing this particular palette. So for future palettes I hope too see something a little more spontaneous and eclectic.

Now finally the ABH powder bronzer, I have been waiting a long time for a go to bronzer and this may be one of them.

I will have to say a lot of the warm toned bronzers have a red undertone to them. I was hoping for a more sunkissed or deep golden brown shade, but once I applied it to bronze up my face I thought it looked absolutely fine. I would say if you are my shade or deeper this would be great as a bronzer or contour. My only concern is that I wish they had more shades without the red undertones for those with yellow/ golden undertones.

I rate the Soft glam palette a 8/10 and the powder bronzer 7/10.

Please watch the video to know a little bit more about my current Giveaway!!! Open to the US and UK only.

Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation Review

Hey guys,

Just a quick update, I am going to be changing my blogging page soon to wordpress. Haven't decided when, but I will keep you all posted on Twitter very soon.

The fairly new Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation is what I will be showing you all today. This product retails for £35/$49 and yes, it has a pump. I managed to film a look with some new and previous products and I hope you all enjoy.

If you do manage to get this foundation in store, find out what undertone you are and reference it from the foundation you currently use. On the Nars website there is a mini description of the undertone you're looking for. I bought mine from Selfridges and was matched to Syracuse and the makeup artist also swatched Moorea, but I felt the colours looked off (Moorea almost grey looking) and ended up exchanging to the shade Tahoe. So please do your research. I mention this in the video.

Nars website: Click here
Selfridges: Click here

I have a little information about the Nars Natural Radiant Longwear foundation that I did not mention in the video. Firstly, the Nars foundation has range of 33 shades ranging from light, to medium, to tan and to deeper skintones. Everyone is likely to find a shade that fits to their undertone.
Secondly, what this foundation is supposed to do is last up to 16 hours. It claims to have a lightweight and radiant finish but high coverage with a natural finish. It is a medium to full coverage foundation.

The foundation is infused with Raspberry, Apple and Watermelon extracts to help smooth and make the skin look instantly radiant. It has a specialised skin-matching technology so it stays true to colour on ypur skin. Ideal for normal, to combination, and oily skin types. Proven to be sweat resistant, transfer proof, non drying and fade resistant.

Thoughts:
My overall thoughts on the foundation I think its a great foundation, however I wish they could have a few more golden/yellow shades that match my complexion a little better. I love the idea of having 33 shades just I have to mix another foundation and put a little more effort into my makeup to fit my needs. I do have to use a hydrating primer around my nose area so that the foundation does not cling onto any of my dry patches around my nose.

It is a little overpriced for my very first Nars foundation, however it made my face look flawless which is why I really enjoyed this foundation so much. I definitely recommend this if you have dry combination skin type and also oily combination too. I would suggest trying out the Nars primer with it, a lot of beauty influencers have tried it that way and have had great results. Or a hydrating primer on areas you feel are mostly dry. Using up to 3/4 pumps is fine as it does not pump out too much product.
Rating 4/5

So has anyone picked up any new foundations lately? I really want to review the Maybelline Superstay foundation since I picked one up the other day. Let me know if you would like a first impressions on that guys.
