PAT MCGRATH HAUL

Hello world.

I'm back guys! I have truly missed blogging and sharing content with you all.

I recently uploaded a video of my Pat McGrath haul and I mentioned how I will be writing a post and sharing photos.

Let me start of by praising Pat McGrath for her wonderful artistry and diligent work. She literally has changed the game for high end make up and I am so impressed.

I tend to stick to average priced makeup products, but when the discounts came along on Pat McGrath's website I thought why not. I'm so glad I did and I will be purchasing again discount or not. Yes, that's how much I'm enjoying everything I purchased.

In the video I share with you only swatches but I have had time off camera to test out the products. I know you all will like to know the verdict and guess what? All those products I purchased are a 10/10. I hardly ever say things like this but those brilliant shine lip glosses (£19 mini trio) are a dream along with the beautiful luxurious scents. One other thing the lip gloss is not sticky, it's super smooth.

The skin fetish sublime perfection (a mouthful) concealer is a great match on me considering I thought M21 came out a little darker when I swatched it on my hand. It's perfect for spot concealing and normal too. Eventually I will purchase an lighter shade, but besides that the powder works like magic it makes a huge difference. I recommend all those products I bought. Really intrigued to try her eye shadows and foundation. Very soon. (Duo for £40)

Lastly the Mattetrance lipstick (£35) is phenomenal, the texture is so creamy and smooth, also its a matte formula. Blows my mind when I use it. It almost looks like its frosty and you will be ableto tell in the video and photo's below.

A few close up shots:

So is Pat Mcgrath's makeup products worth the money. I think you know my answer already. Without doubt yes it is. Check it out for yourself.

Surprise!!! Morphe X Jaclyn Hill collection

Hey guys,

Raise your hand if you managed to snatch up one of the Morphe X Jaclyn hill palettes from the Vault collection. I certainly did.
If not, do not worry you can sign up for updates here or on social media in order to find out when it is back in stock.

Before you decide, maybe you would like to see some swatches and witness how these eyeshadows perform on the eyes. Not only have I reviewed this but, I will be sharing a few photo's of the palettes down below.

I decided to purchase 2 out of the 4 palettes (Dark magic and the Armed and gorgeous palette) because I felt like I had most of the other shades in other palettes I have already. Its all about preference, if you want to support Jaclyn Hill and buy the Vault for $49/£49 then please do. However, if you have the Jaclyn hill 35 eyeshadow palette then maybe think about which one entices you the most.
Individually each palette retails for $15/£15 and with the code 'JACATTACK' you can save some money. It's not a neccessity to purchase all of them, its totally up to you. Mine arrived within 3 days after purchasing, which was pretty quick.
(Currently sold out but will available soon)

Morphe UK- Click here
Morphe Australia (currently available) - click here

So lets see if the palettes live up to my expectations in the video below:

General thoughts:
- Travel friendly
- Has a mirror
- Shade names are inside
- Decent size eyeshadows
- When swatching some I had to go over again more than once (can you tell which ones?)
- Some swatch and apply a little patchy, need building up (oranges and lighter greens)
- Shimmers and foiled shades are great (you can also wet them to get more intensity)
- Packaging is a 10/10
- Favourite shades Dark Magic are Power cut, trickery, poof, inside job, temptress.
- Favourite shades from Armed and gorgeous are Access, classified, coin, prowl, smooth criminal and VIP.

Armed and gorgeous above and Dark magic below.

Rating 8-9/10

Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoyed my review.

BH COSMETICS WEEKEND FESTIVAL PALETTE

Hey all,

Colourful and vibrant looks this Summer is a must and particularly during the festival seasons. So if your looking for some inspirational bright eyeshadow looks you are in for a treat. I have been holding on to the BH Cosmetics weekend festival palette for a few weeks now and could not wait to play with it on camera. I did mention that I was struggling to create some eye looks before because I did not know what to create on my eyes and the concealers I was using were not performing well with the shadows.

I would recommend purchasing the Colourpop concealers (retail for $6) because they dry a little quicker and allows the eyeshadow to blend out beautifully on the eyes. I created two different eye looks on each eye. A halo eye and half cut crease, so  I hope you all enjoy.

Just a few things I would mention about the palette:

  • Very pigmented- Mostly the shimmers the only one that needed building up was the shade wicked
  • Powdery shadows- I found that there was a lot of kickback with each shadow I used which was a bit of a downfall. However, I'm so used to it, it does not bother me. It's a £20/$16 palette
  • Some shadows (the mattes/ shimmers) may need building up on the eyes- the colourful shades can come across light when applying them on the eyes, then building them up becomes more intensified.
  • It has a decent size mirror- very handy for travelling.
  • Affordable (Links for palette are below)

Loreal Les Chocolat Liquid Lipsticks: My thoughts

Okay, so look who's coming to play in our UK drugstores today. With these chocolate scented lipsticks I do not think anything can go wrong here.

L'Oreal have launched (well a few weeks ago) the anticipated Les Chocolat scented liquid lipsticks and let me tell you they smell exactly like double chocolate brownies or muffins. Literally you will not be disappointed.

Where to purchase: Superdrug's
Loreal Paris

In the video I mentioned that I will test out one of the liquid lipsticks for up to 12 hours. I tested the lipstick for 10 hours to see if it lived up to the claims listed on the Superdrug's website. I will share a couple of photos below.

Firstly, the liquid lipstick in shade Ginger Bomb glided on perfectly. I missed a little spot on my lip because I applied a lip liner and I forgot to bring it with me to touch up. Luckily it was not noticeable unless you came close up to my face. You can probably tell in the picture below.

The real question is did I experience any problems with this lipstick? I did not experience any flaking, or dry lips or smudging. The liquid lipstick is super comfortable and I want to purchase a few more shades too. Even though they're matte it felt so good on my lips, like a smooth texture. I couldn't believe how long the lipstick lasted on my lips. The only thing is after wearing it for 10 hours, I had something to eat and it faded in the middle of my lips. I expected that to happen. I can say I did not experience any problems at all.

(Above I had it on for 7 hours and below I had on for 10 hours after eating)

I would rate the liquid lipsticks a 9/10. They are equivalent to my high end liquid lipsticks.

Spring time looks using one palette: Take me back to Brazil from BH Cosmetics

Ready for some spring time colourful looks, look no further than this guys.

I recently posted a video discussing my Top favourite eyeshadow palettes and so many of you really enjoyed it and loved my colourful make up look.

As excited as I am I have created a 2 in 1 look using the BH cosmetics Take me back to Brazil palette. I thought why do one look when you can create so many looks with 35 shades.

Products are listed here: https://youtu.be/JkuOekLlOAY

I definitely think the palette is cohesive and opaque. Some shades you may need to build up a little more than others. But for the price (£20) and the fact the palette has a mirror you are saving some coins. Especially for those starting out with make up and like to experiment with colours.

You can purchase the palette from BH cosmetics or Beauty Bay. Do it quickly because it does sell out all the time.

Hope you all enjoy my video and let me know if I should do more videos like this too.

Do not forget giveaway is still open: https://youtu.be/KEs1Vokoee4
