BH COSMETICS WEEKEND FESTIVAL PALETTE

Hey all,

Colourful and vibrant looks this Summer is a must and particularly during the festival seasons. So if your looking for some inspirational bright eyeshadow looks you are in for a treat. I have been holding on to the BH Cosmetics weekend festival palette for a few weeks now and could not wait to play with it on camera. I did mention that I was struggling to create some eye looks before because I did not know what to create on my eyes and the concealers I was using were not performing well with the shadows.

I would recommend purchasing the Colourpop concealers (retail for $6) because they dry a little quicker and allows the eyeshadow to blend out beautifully on the eyes. I created two different eye looks on each eye. A halo eye and half cut crease, so  I hope you all enjoy.

Just a few things I would mention about the palette:

  • Very pigmented- Mostly the shimmers the only one that needed building up was the shade wicked
  • Powdery shadows- I found that there was a lot of kickback with each shadow I used which was a bit of a downfall. However, I'm so used to it, it does not bother me. It's a £20/$16 palette
  • Some shadows (the mattes/ shimmers) may need building up on the eyes- the colourful shades can come across light when applying them on the eyes, then building them up becomes more intensified.
  • It has a decent size mirror- very handy for travelling.
  • Affordable (Links for palette are below)

Loreal Les Chocolat Liquid Lipsticks: My thoughts

Okay, so look who's coming to play in our UK drugstores today. With these chocolate scented lipsticks I do not think anything can go wrong here.

L'Oreal have launched (well a few weeks ago) the anticipated Les Chocolat scented liquid lipsticks and let me tell you they smell exactly like double chocolate brownies or muffins. Literally you will not be disappointed.

Where to purchase: Superdrug's
Loreal Paris

In the video I mentioned that I will test out one of the liquid lipsticks for up to 12 hours. I tested the lipstick for 10 hours to see if it lived up to the claims listed on the Superdrug's website. I will share a couple of photos below.

Firstly, the liquid lipstick in shade Ginger Bomb glided on perfectly. I missed a little spot on my lip because I applied a lip liner and I forgot to bring it with me to touch up. Luckily it was not noticeable unless you came close up to my face. You can probably tell in the picture below.

The real question is did I experience any problems with this lipstick? I did not experience any flaking, or dry lips or smudging. The liquid lipstick is super comfortable and I want to purchase a few more shades too. Even though they're matte it felt so good on my lips, like a smooth texture. I couldn't believe how long the lipstick lasted on my lips. The only thing is after wearing it for 10 hours, I had something to eat and it faded in the middle of my lips. I expected that to happen. I can say I did not experience any problems at all.

(Above I had it on for 7 hours and below I had on for 10 hours after eating)

I would rate the liquid lipsticks a 9/10. They are equivalent to my high end liquid lipsticks.

Spring time looks using one palette: Take me back to Brazil from BH Cosmetics

Ready for some spring time colourful looks, look no further than this guys.

I recently posted a video discussing my Top favourite eyeshadow palettes and so many of you really enjoyed it and loved my colourful make up look.

As excited as I am I have created a 2 in 1 look using the BH cosmetics Take me back to Brazil palette. I thought why do one look when you can create so many looks with 35 shades.

Products are listed here: https://youtu.be/JkuOekLlOAY

I definitely think the palette is cohesive and opaque. Some shades you may need to build up a little more than others. But for the price (£20) and the fact the palette has a mirror you are saving some coins. Especially for those starting out with make up and like to experiment with colours.

You can purchase the palette from BH cosmetics or Beauty Bay. Do it quickly because it does sell out all the time.

Hope you all enjoy my video and let me know if I should do more videos like this too.
